Visa processing in Belgrade
The US Embassy in Belgrade, as well as other US embassies, have not yet started processing cases from the immigration DV program 2020 and 2021.
The decision on processing is not made by embassies individually, but by the visa department in the State Department.

The consular section in Belgrade has been designated as the place where the following types of visas will be processed for visa applicants living in Russia:
All F student visas
All M type student visas
Type J visas for academic exchange visitors
J visas for exchange visitors sponsored by the US governmentNOTE: Visa applicants are expected to speak English or Serbian at the visa interview. Interpreters are not allowed to enter the waiting room.
Note: from December 6, 2021, all air travelers over the age of two, regardless of nationality or vaccination status, must have proof of a negative test result for the corona virus. The test must be taken no later than one day before the departure of the flight to the United States.
